About Case Atlas
Case Atlas maps documented serial murder cases: where the crimes happened, where the victims were taken or found, and where the killers lived, worked, were arrested and tried. The goal is to make these cases easier to understand. It is not meant to glorify the people who committed them.
Victims first
Every case page lists the victims by name. We describe what happened plainly and avoid sensational detail.
Sourcing
Every case and every location must cite at least one source: court records, reputable news reporting, or well-maintained references. The database itself rejects any case or location without a source.
Privacy
- Private homes, including victims' homes and killers' former homes, are shown only as approximate shaded areas, never as exact pins. Street addresses are not shown.
- Many of these places are now lived in by people who have nothing to do with the case. Please respect them.
- Only solved, adjudicated cases are included. We do not name suspects in unsolved cases.
